⏰Order by Thursday before 12pm CST for Sunday pickup

Our Alcapurrias are handmade the traditional island way — shredded yautía and green plantain blended into a smooth masa, filled with savory picadillo beef, and fried until crispy and golden. This is Puerto Rican street food at its best, recreated with the same technique Su Mai taught Shaby and now shared with families across Denton and the DFW Metroplex.

Every alcapurria carries the flavor of fiestas, roadside kiosks, and abuela’s kitchen. If you’ve been searching for real Puerto Rican food in North Texas, this is as authentic as it gets.

Flavor Notes

  • Crispy outer masa made from yautía + plantain
  • Seasoned picadillo beef filling

A mother & daughter kitchen

Su Mai's recipes. Chef Shaby's hands. Made for you every week.

These Puerto Rican dishes come from Su Mai's family recipes. The same ones she brought from the island and has been cooking for decades. Chef Shaby grew up learning them by her side. Now they make them together every week in Denton, by hand, with the same care and love they always have. When you order from the Puerto Rican collection, you're eating food from "The Fam."
